Point Method of Job Evaluation

Jobs are divided into component factors. Points or weights are assigned to each factor depending on the degree of its importance in a particular job, the total points for a job indicate its relative worth or value.

Procedure-

1. Determine the job to be evaluated
2. Select the factors
3. Define the factors
4. Determine the Degrees
5. Determine relative values of job factors
6. Assign point values to Degrees
7. Find the point value of the job.
8. Assign money values.
