Discipline means orderliness, absence of disorder, chaos, and confusion in human behaviour and action. 

According to Richard D. Calhoon –

Discipline may be considered as the force that prompts individuals or groups to observe rule, regulations, standards and procedures deemed necessary for an organization.

According to Henry Fayol, “Discipline is what the leaders make it.”
